As a Christian, I have been practicing yoga for many years. This started with the Raja Yoga Basic training, followed by a three-year teacher training and completed with a four-year master training. Many years of teaching followed.
As extras, I followed an internal 200 hour training in Hatha Yoga in 2016.
I specialize in RAJA yoga, which means “royal yoga”. The purpose of this form of yoga is to make you as a human being aware of the fact that our soul is a part of what is called “Divine Unity” in yoga. Here Raja yoga touches on Christian thought, thinking of the maxim of Jesus:
“I and the Father are one”
Some therefore call Raja Yoga also “the Yoga of Jesus”.
Raja Christ Centered Yoga works on the development of body, mind and soul. In the lessons, texts from the Bible, Bhagavad Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, among others, are included in the poses in order to promote integration. The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are the basis of the Raja Yoga training.
It is my mission to accompany you in your development as a future yoga teacher.
The way of yoga is primarily a way of perception.
I took this path many years ago and it brings me closer to my source every day. I call this source God, but many names have been given to it.
Jesus, in particular, taught me how to walk this path.
I am 54 years old and have walked many paths here on earth in this short existence. Some were straight, others completely tortuous. This shaped me and in the end only one thing turned out to be important. Can I let go of what binds me too much and therefor embrace Love.
The Love for life, for Jesus and for you, will be noticeable in the training.
This is your path where I can walk along for a while and that makes me humble and grateful.
Feel free, feel welcome,
Namasté
Marcel
