Raja Yoga Karma Yoga Bhakti Yoga jñana Yoga
In RCCY the four main paths of yoga (jñana, bhakti, karma and raja) converge.
The Christ consciousness is an extra dimension that is added to this. Raja Yoga forms the basis of the four main paths. The Yoga sustras of Patanjali indicate the direction.
Below is a brief explanation:
The book consists of four parts:
- Part 1 deals with the general nature of yoga and its technique, in other words with the question “What is yoga?”.
- Part 2 deals with the philosophy of the kleshas, in other words the question “Why should someone actually practice yoga” and with the first five exercises of the yoga technique.
- Part 3 discusses the other exercises of the yoga technique and the achievements that one achieves by practicing it.
- Part 4 sets out all the essential philosophical problems involved in the study and practice of yoga.
Part 1: Samadhi Pada (about the exaltation)
Regarding Samadhi, the essential yoga technique for the development of consciousness, realize the superconscious.
Part 2: Sadhana Pada (about the education).
Regarding Sadhana, achieving the goal pursued by first making the student physically, mentally, emotionally and morally fit for practicing the higher stages of Yoga.
Part 3: Vibuti Pada (about the developing psychic higher faculties).
Regarding the powers or siddhis that develop when one practices the higher form of yoga. Note: the siddhis are not the goal, because that is the liberation. Siddhis is gradually acquired.
Part 4: Kaivalya Pada (about the liberation, Unification).
Regarding the release of all attachments; general self-forgetfulness; liberation, once and for all from the world of the perishable.
